Order views

Order views are created by saving filters with selected statuses, filter options, and search text. Order views are displayed as tabs on the top of the Orders page. You can customize order views, and create, rename, or delete views. If you create a new order view, it's added as a new tab on the Orders page.

The following order views are the default views:

  • All

In any order view except All, you can make the following changes and save them to the current view or save them as a new view:

  • Select filters
  • Select statuses
  • Filter with a custom search term
  • Select date range for filter
  • Rename the view
  • Delete the view

Although, you can't change or delete the All view, you can create a new view that is based on the All view.

The orders that appear in saved views are updated automatically. For example, if you saved a filter for Paid orders, then any orders that becomes paid are added to that order view automatically.

Filtering orders

From the app admin, you can use different types of filters to change which orders are displayed, and to perform bulk actions on multiple orders. You can also filter your orders using a custom search. To reuse filters or filter combinations, Save View allows the filter to be reused by admin only (Private View), All users (Public View), or a selection of users. View permissions can be edited from the Saved Views page.

Filters determine which orders are displayed in an order view. For example, the All view has no filters.

When you select filters, you can also combine them to see orders that match multiple criteria. For example, you can combine the Paid and Tagged With filters to view a list of your store's orders that are both paid and have a specific tag.

You can use the following filters on your order list:

  • Customer Name: filter by customer name
  • Customer Email: filter by customer email
  • Due Date: Past Due, Due Today, Next 7 days, Next 14 days, Next 30 days, Next 60 days, and Custom
  • Fulfillment status: any, fulfilled, unfulfilled, partially fulfilled
  • Order Number: filter by order number
  • Payment status: authorized, paid, partially paid, partially refunded, pending, refunded, unpaid, voided
  • Shopify Status: any, open, archived, cancelled
  • SKU: filter by sku
  • Shopify Tag: filter by a Shopify order tag
  • Order Status Tag: filter by an Order Status tag that has been added from the app
  • Vendor: filter by vendor name
  • Active this period
  • Assigned To - filter by selecting the user(s) assigned to the order

Steps:

  1. From the app admin, go to Orders.

  2. On any view, click Filter.

  3. Select a filter type from the Filter Type drop down.

  4. Enter a filter value in the field provided or select an option from the drop down.

  5. Select Search button to add the filter.

  6. to add another filter, select the Filter again
  7. Optional: save changes to the view or create a new view.

Filter orders using custom terms

You can use the search bar to filter your orders with a custom term. A custom term can be used as a filter on its own, or in combination with filters in the existing categories. For example, you can filter your orders by searching for a customer name, product name, SKU, order number, or country.

If you expect to reuse the custom search term on its own or combined with other filters, save it to a view.
