Working With Custom Short Codes

Custom Short Codes allow you to crate reusable sections of HTML/Liquid code that can used in your notification templates. These are especially useful when using the simple email editor. The simple editor will reformat code and can break complex liquid statements. Using custom short codes allows you to add complex liquid code to your template without the fear of it being changed.

System short codes are pre-designed short codes that can be viewed and used in your templates, however these short codes are not editable. If you would like to use a system short code as a starting point for a new custom short code, you can copy it.
